The Festival aims at providing a common platform for filmmakers of the world to project their excellence in film art; contributing to the understanding and appreciation of film cultures of different nations in the context of their social and cultural ethos; and promoting friendship and co-operation among people of the world. The sfmiffi was established in 2010. It has been presenting the best at the international film festival for the last 12 years. We are filled with immense joy because within the last ten years about 9500 filmmakers have participated from 190 countries at our festival. It’s globally known to be a festival that supports cinema from underground and marginalized populations. The International Short Film Mantra Festival represents the values that we share as a community. It’s renowned for well-deserved participants and provides a voice for under- represented artists and newcomer filmmakers. International Short Film Festival has embraced experimental, animated, narrative, documentary, and short films from every corner of the globe. It offers filmmakers a stellar platform for public exposure and an environment that values artistry above the worldwide biggest names since the last decade.
International Short Film Festival has cultural events like Bollywood dance, storytelling, script writing, and classical dance. These cultural events are invited from various Indian states during the film festival.
