About OTT Cinema Award

  1. We are commencing the OTT Cinema Awards from 2025. These awards aim to honour outstanding contributions in film, art, and creation, following a fair evaluation of various categories based on impartial standards. The purpose of the OTT awards is to provide a platform for independent filmmakers. We have included Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi and South Indian films in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages in the OTT Awards, creating an inclusive environment for filmmakers and their creations from across India.

  2. OTT has become a popular term nowadays, and that's why we are delighted to announce to all filmmakers that our organization, Short Film Mantra, has been organizing the Short Film Mantra International Film Festival (SFMIFFF) for the past 14 years. Short filmmakers from 90 countries have participated in this festival, with almost 15,000 entries received to date. Participants include students from Whistling Wood, Film and Television Institute Pune, Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute Kolkata, New York Film Academy, Iranian National School of Cinema, etc. This is a matter of great pride and joy for our organization.

  3. We hereby announce the commencement of the OTT Cinema Awards for 2024-2025. The purpose of this award ceremony is to encourage the creative power, talent, and originality of Indian cinema's independent filmmakers by providing a platform with integrity. The ceremony aims to promote the ancient pride of Indian culture, diversity, unity, and mutual recognition, honouring the best films and young creatives.

    Cinema is the best platform for storytelling, which is witnessing a decline in today's age. This award will mark the beginning of a new initiative to revive storytelling.

The purpose of the festival is to create a platform for filmmakers from all over the world to showcase their best films, share social and cultural values through the world of cinema from various countries, promote global fame and contributions, and foster close friendship and mutual cooperation among filmmakers worldwide. The Short Film Mantra International Film Festival (SFMIFFF) was established in 2010, and it has organized the International Film Festival for the last 14 years, awarding the best films from around the world.

  6. We are pleased to announce that over 15,000 filmmakers from 90 countries have participated in this festival over the past 14 years. This forum is for grassroots, lesser-known filmmakers in society, serving as a platform for mutual social values. The forum recognizes acclaimed filmmakers and participants while providing a voice for lesser-known artists and emerging filmmakers. This international short film festival welcomes experimental, animated, documentary, and narrative-based short films from around the world. For the past decade, this incredible platform has provided an exciting environment for renowned filmmakers from around the world to showcase their artistic excellence in front of cinema lovers.
